This weekend Core had a company outing to the Invictus Games, we caught the finals of the archery competition as well as the grand final of the wheelchair rugby. Superb atmosphere, great competitions.
The exhibition wheelchair rugby match with Prince Harry and Zara Phillips, Mike Tindall and Jason Robinson, Kelly Holmes and Denise Lewis was highly entertaining.. Congratulations to the UK WR team who won the final in a very tightly contested match. Commiserations to the USA who appeared to be playing to a different interpretation of the rules on fouling, and played a couple of phases with 2 players versus 4!
